MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR FRUIT
From the first look
to the last slice.
Check the pack when it arrives and follow any instructions supplied for your actual fruit and its ripeness. The guidance below is for mangoes in general; it is not a promised shelf life for a particular order.
01 / BEFORE RIPE
Let it ripen.
Keep unripe mangoes at room temperature rather than refrigerating them immediately. Check regularly as they soften. A paper bag at room temperature can help speed ripening.
02 / READY TO ENJOY
Keep ripe fruit cool.
Move ripe whole mangoes to the refrigerator to slow further ripening. The National Mango Board gives up to five days as general guidance; actual condition and handling matter.
03 / AFTER CUTTING
Store with care.
Refrigerate peeled or cut mango in a clean, sealed container. It can also be frozen for later use. Do not rely on a calendar alone when judging fruit that appears spoiled.
General ripening and storage source: National Mango Board. Follow the order-specific instructions supplied with your fruit.
Good questions. Clear answers.
Which mango varieties are in the collection?
Our catalogue includes Sindhri, Chaunsa Mosmi, Anwar Ratol Desi, Langra, Doseri, Saroli and Black Chaunsa. Each has a page in The Harvest. Confirm current availability and the exact orchard selection before ordering.
Do you offer other fruit?
JDW Orchards also supplies other fruit, and expansion into more fruit is in progress. Ask the orchard which additional fruit is currently available; unconfirmed product names are not listed as stock.
How do I place a household or gifting enquiry?
Use our contact form. Include the fruit, approximate quantity, destination and preferred receiving date. For gifts, add the number of recipients and packing preferences. The team reviews these details before confirming an order.
Are prices, box weights and delivery dates fixed?
No fixed price, pack weight or universal delivery window is advertised here. Confirm the current fruit grade, net pack weight, price, shipping charges and agreed timing before accepting a quotation. An enquiry is not a reservation or payment.
Can I enquire outside the main mango season?
Yes. Ask about the next harvest or other available fruit. Use our season guide for regional context, not live stock. A harvest-update request does not reserve fruit, and a paid preorder requires separately confirmed terms.
Do you supply businesses and international buyers?
Send a trade enquiry with your quantity, destination, packing requirements and required window. Fruit allocation, logistics and any required documents are reviewed before quotation. A country appearing in the form does not confirm shipment eligibility.
What happens if there is a quality concern?
Contact the orchard promptly with your order reference, arrival date and a clear description. Keep photographs of the fruit, packaging and label where available. Any remedy is assessed against the actual circumstances and agreed order terms; this FAQ does not invent a fixed refund or claim deadline.
Are the images photographs of the actual fruit I will receive?
The orchard footage is genuine supplied material. Mango still-life images and the interactive 3D mango are illustrations, not proof of a particular variety, grade or current batch. Request current photographs and confirmed specifications when these matter to your order.
How do I pay?
Discuss payment only after the fruit and commercial terms have been agreed. Use the verified instructions supplied for your accepted order. This website’s enquiry forms do not take payment; never put card details, passwords or identity documents into a message.
